Day 1: Wildlife Safari in Ngorongoro Crater
Begin your day with an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. Explore its wildlife-packed floor, home to the Big Five, as well as wildebeests, zebras, and hippos. Break for a picnic lunch in the heart of this natural amphitheater, surrounded by its towering walls and lush scenery. After a day of incredible game viewing, ascend the crater and drive toward Mkomazi National Park, where you’ll check into your lodge or campsite for the night.

Day 2: Conservation & Wildlife at Mkomazi
Spend the day exploring Mkomazi National Park, known for its arid savannahs and conservation initiatives. Enjoy a game drive to spot elephants, cheetahs, and giraffes, along with a variety of bird species. Visit the park’s rhino sanctuary and learn about its efforts to protect these endangered animals, as well as the African wild dog breeding program. After a picnic lunch in the park, take in the scenic views of the Pare and Usambara Mountains before returning to Arusha in the evening.
