Tour Plan

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Start your adventure with an early drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Spend the day exploring Tarangire’s famous baobab trees, large herds of elephants, and diverse wildlife, including lions, giraffes, and zebras. After a thrilling game drive, check into your lodge or camp near Tarangire for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire to Mara River (Serengeti Region)
After breakfast, depart Tarangire for a drive toward the Serengeti, focusing on the Mara River region. Arrive in the Mara River area and embark on an afternoon game drive along this iconic river. Witness the thrilling predator-prey interactions and spot a variety of wildlife, including crocodiles and hippos, as well as the seasonal migration of wildebeest. Overnight at a nearby lodge or camp.

Day 3: Full Day in Mara River Region
Spend the day exploring the Mara River region. Depending on the time of year, you may witness the Great Migration crossing the river, an incredible spectacle of wildebeest, zebras, and predators. Enjoy game drives in the area, spotting lions, leopards, and other wildlife. Return to your lodge or camp for a relaxing evening.

Day 4: Full Day in Mara River Region
Enjoy another full day in the Mara River region, continuing to explore its dramatic landscapes and abundant wildlife. Focus on observing predator behavior, as well as the river's role in the ecosystem. Spend the day tracking wildlife and witnessing the interactions between animals in this thrilling environment. End the day with a sundowner at the lodge.

Day 5: Mara River to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, leave the Mara River region and travel to Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage site. Spot the Big Five, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, and buffalo, in the fertile crater floor. After lunch at a scenic spot, ascend to the crater rim and head to your lodge for the night.

Day 6: Ngorongoro to Lake Eyasi (Cultural Experience)
Depart Ngorongoro in the morning and head to Lake Eyasi. Spend the afternoon with the Hadzabe tribe, learning about their traditional hunting and gathering practices. You’ll also visit the Datoga tribe to witness their blacksmithing skills. Spend the night at a lodge or camp near Lake Eyasi.

Day 7: Lake Eyasi to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, travel to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and vibrant birdlife. Enjoy a game drive through the park, spotting elephants, giraffes, flamingos, and a variety of other wildlife. After a picnic lunch, continue exploring the park before heading to your accommodation near Lake Natron for the night.

Day 8: Lake Manyara to Lake Natron
Start the day with a scenic drive to Lake Natron, a surreal and striking destination. Take a walk along the lake's shores, observe flamingos in the area, and enjoy the volcanic landscapes surrounding the lake. You’ll also visit nearby waterfalls for a refreshing dip before returning to Arusha in the evening, concluding your safari adventure.
